Layunin ng i-ekspress app na makamit ng mga mag-aaral ang kasanayan mula sa DepEd: BOW-WG-51 na:
"Nagagamit ang kahusayang gramatikal (may tamang bantas, baybay,magkakaugnay na pangungusap o talata) sa pagsulat ng isang suring pelikula"
Ang i-ekspress app ay nakatuon sa kasanayan ng mga mag-aaral sa paggamit ng mga bantas at naglalayong:
1. Maisa-isa ang mga bantas sa wikang Filipino
2. Matukoy ang tamang gamit ng mga bantas
3. Masagutan nang tama ang mga pagsasanay sa aplikasyon

The aim of the i-express app is for students to acquire skills from DepEd: BOW-WG-51 which:
"Uses grammatical skills (correct punctuation, spelling, coherent sentences or paragraphs) in writing a film review"
The i-express app focuses on students' skill in using punctuation marks and aims to:
1. The punctuation marks in the Filipino language are unique
2. Identify the correct use of punctuation marks
3. Complete the application exercises correctly
