Table Math features a unique way of memorizing multiplication, addition, subtraction, and division tables. Duplicates can be ignored (optionally) in order to save time and effort. Give each equation a color score so you can keep track of your progress.

Table Math uses Retrieval-Based Spaced Repetition to memorize all tables.

How to use:

The selected number of the left column will be multiplied (or added, subtracted, divided) with the selected number of the right column.

You can change the operation (multiply, add, etc.) by selecting one of the [+ - x /] buttons.

If the Duplicates check box is ticked, some numbers on the left column will be ignored (greyed out) depending on the number combination selected. This is to prevent duplicates (for example 3x4 and 4x3).

When an equation is visible, press any of the 4 colors to indicate how well you remember it. Only the selected number on the left column will change color.

Use the following color codes:

Red: cannot remember or wrong answer.
Amber: takes too long to remember.
Green: can remember quickly.
Grey: not yet covered.

After a red or amber color is selected, the answer is show. Then press next for the next equation. You can also manually select the next number combination, but it is recommended to first complete (select a color) of the entire left column before moving on to another number in the right column.

If a grey or green color is selected, the answer is not shown and instead, the next equation is shown. This is to speed up the process of reviewing each combination.

The sequence of the numbers (the next equation) is from bottom to top (9, 8, 7, 6, etc). This is to prevent tables being remembered as a fixed sequence. The aim is to be able to remember all tables randomly, not sequentially.

To support random table recall, select the "Random" tick box.

When next is pressed with Random OFF, only a red, amber, or grey number is used from the current table. When next is pressed with Random ON, only a red or amber number is used from any of the tables.

It is recommended to only use the Random feature when at least one full table is fully colored with some red and amber colors (not some grey and not all green).

The color selections are automatically saved and retrieved at app startup.

When clr (clear) is pressed, all colors will change to grey from the current table.
