DVIRLog is a private, offline-first record-keeper for the solo owner-operator who keeps their own DOT inspection records.
• Run a daily driver vehicle inspection report with the standard defect checklist: brakes, steering, lights, tires, horn, wipers, mirrors, coupling, wheels, and emergency equipment
• Mark pre-trip or post-trip, add a note and photo to any defect
• Record repair certification and a safe-to-operate review
• Sign each report and keep it on your own device
• Keep a maintenance file per vehicle: inspections, repairs, service, receipts, vendor, odometer, and cost
• Track the annual periodic inspection and its next-due date
• Export a single report or a date-range binder pack as PDF

Inspection content and record-retention rules are set by 49 CFR Part 396 and your auditor — review every entry against the current regulation.
