Cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death. Survival chances drop by 10% per minute when a person suffers from cardiac arrest, primarily due to lack of oxygenation of the brain. But if you provide high-quality CPR, the chance of survival increases considerably.

With your CorPatch® and the CorPatch® app at hand, we address your insecurities, and prepare and guide you to recognize a cardiac arrest and perform high-quality CPR. You, CorPatch®, and the CorPatch® app together will increase the chances for the person to survive the cardiac arrest.

It is a very stressful situation to witness the collapse of a spouse, family member, colleague, friend, or neighbour.

This app in combination with CorPatch® will support you, to:

1. Recognize a cardiac arrest
2. Call 1-1-2
2. Give high-quality CPR, because of our unique feedback system that measures actual compressions and coaches you with real-time instructions
3. Train CPR in the comfort of your home every three months, evaluate your performance in training, and be fully prepared to act in the event of cardiac arrest

Chest compression quality correlates with the survival chances, and CorPatch® (available through various channels) measures frequency, depth and recoil of each compression and guides you to get the best possible quality. This ensures optimum survival chances.

If you feel confident to give rescue breaths, the app will instruct you on this also, but if not, simply use it just for chest compressions, which will ensure blood flow and oxygenation of the person’s brain for the first crucial minutes.

The app can be used by any person strong enough to perform CPR, and on adults who have suffered a cardiac arrest. And you can supplement your first aid or CPR courses with regular short training intervals in your home, office, or club if you have a CorPatch®.

If you have a person in your family, colleague, or near relations with cardiovascular diseases or signs of it, they can be at high risk of cardiac arrest. The best thing you can do is to be prepared by having your CorPatch® app and a CorPatch® at hand, should the worst happen.

Together, the CorPatch® App and the CorPatch® device is a medical device in Class 1 according to the European Medical Device Regulation. It is manufactured and provided by the Danish health-tech company SmartResQ.
