Your GitHub streak shouldn't punish you for having a life.
Vacations. Crunch weeks. Burnout days. Hospital visits. The 4-day debugging
spiral where you wrote no code worth committing. The contribution graph doesn't
care — and one missed day breaks a streak you spent months building.
GitPulse fixes that. One tap. Every day. Done.
HOW IT WORKS
You sign in with GitHub. You pick which repos GitPulse is allowed to touch.
You hit play. That's it.
Behind the scenes, GitPulse pushes invisible HTML comment markers to the
README files of your selected repos — never to your source code. These commits
register as real activity on your contribution graph, but they don't change a
single line of your project, never trigger CI/CD, and never show up in diffs.
Clean. Quiet. Honest.
WHAT YOU GET
→ One-tap runs
Hit the play button. Watch live progress. Get back to your day.
→ Live commit progress
Real-time per-repo progress bars, status badges, and a satisfying
"Run Complete" screen when it's done.
→ Background runs that actually work
Start a run, lock your phone, switch apps, close GitPulse — your commits
still finish. Powered by a proper Android foreground service, not a
half-baked timer.
→ Pause and resume, even after a crash
If your phone dies mid-run, GitPulse picks up exactly where it left off
the next time you open the app. No duplicates. No lost work.
→ Smart daily caps
Set a limit (1 to 500 commits per run) to keep your graph looking
organic and natural — never spammy.
→ Full run history
Every run logged with timestamps, commit counts, and status. Filter by
success, failure, or all-time.
→ Beautiful, native dark UI
Built ground-up for Android with Material 3, Poppins, and a deep purple
accent. No web wrappers. No clunky Flutter rebuilds.
→ Granular control
Toggle private repos. Adjust commits-per-run with a stepper. Swap
themes. Manage notifications. It's your tool.
PRIVACY ISN'T A FEATURE — IT'S THE FOUNDATION
We're developers. We built GitPulse the way we'd want a tool built for us.
→ Zero backend. No servers. No databases. No analytics. We literally cannot
see what you do, because there's nothing collecting it.
→ Your OAuth token is encrypted with AES-256 and stored only on your device,
inside Android's secure hardware-backed keystore. It never leaves.
→ GitPulse cannot read your source code. The OAuth scopes only allow
touching README files. Your proprietary code stays invisible to us forever.
→ Single-device session lock prevents accidental duplicate runs across
multiple phones.
→ No ads. No popups. No upsells. No tracking pixels. Ever.
WHO GITPULSE IS FOR
→ Indie devs and freelancers protecting a portfolio streak
→ Students keeping their graphs active during exam weeks
→ Open-source maintainers between releases
→ Engineers on PTO who don't want their graph going gray
→ Anyone tired of writing fake commits in throwaway repos at midnight
FAQ
Q: Is this against GitHub's Terms of Service?
A: GitPulse pushes legitimate commits authored by you, to repos you own,
using official GitHub APIs. No fake accounts, no scraping, no automation
GitHub has prohibited.
Q: Will my commits look spammy?
A: No. Markers are invisible HTML comments inside your README. The commit
message and timing patterns are designed to look organic.
Q: What if I lose my phone?
A: Your token only exists on that device. Sign in fresh on a new one — the
old session auto-revokes.
Q: Can I delete my account?
A: Yes. One tap in Settings wipes everything: token, history, all data.
Permanent and instant.
Stop watching your contribution graph fade to gray. Take it back.
Download GitPulse. Hit play. Live your life.
