Karmitt is a freecycling platform designed for convenient sharing and support of charitable initiatives. Our app will not only help save on future purchases, but will also enable your personal contribution to saving the environment from excess waste. Which you will be awarded for by our eco-partners.
Need a scooter for the little one? Open our app, see who’s sharing, get in contact and pick it up at your convenience. Once the little one isn’t so little anymore, take a pic, publish the scooter and make someone’s day!
Upon registration you will receive 10 Karmitts. Karmitts are virtual tokens, which are transferred between users: give at item - receive a Karmitt, take an item - give a Karmitt. Each item on the platform has a virtual worth of 1 Karmitt. You can then exchange Karmitts for various offers from our eco-partners! Offers are constantly updated seeing as the Karmitt platform is an excellent way for business to play its part in preserving our planet.
To use an offer on the app just go to the offer’s description, generate your personal code, show the code at the eco-partner’s location and, voila, you’re the recipient of a gift or discount.
Another way to use the Karmitt app is through donating to charitable foundations: just chose a charity in the app, donate, and we’ll award you with additional Karmitts.
Our app uses your geolocation in order to display items and offers nearby.
We ask our users to adhere to the rules of our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of use in ensuring all Karmitt users are granted a perfect user experience.
