FastViewer Quickhelp enables Screensharing for Android Devices.
For Android screensharing with Remote Control enabled, 3 Applications are required:
FastViewer Quickhelp App:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.matrix42.connect&hl=en
Allows sharing the screen of your android device for remote work, support & productivity.
FastViewer Quickhelp AddOn:
The AddOn to the App above, for users who wish to enable remote control functionality
The Addon can be installed additionally to enable remote control, eg. keyboard inputs by using Androids AccessibilityService API: In the Quickhelp App click "Download" to install the AddOn.
Android Devices can be accessed via the "M42 FastViewer WebConsole":
https://connect.fastviewer.com
The Web Console can be opened with a Browser (for example: Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox).
In here Android Devices can be registered & accessed (if user consent is given within the QuickHelp App at various steps).
How to register a Mobile Device:
WebConsole: In the menu on the lefthand side:
Perform rightclick on your rootfolder -> Click "add mobile device"
Android Device:
Scan QR Code with the Android device, or use the registration token / link -> Proceed Registration in the Quickhelp App on the Android Device.
WebConsole:
Once an Android Device is registered it will appear under your root folder (it might need a reload / refresh)
- Extend your root folder & click on the connection icon next to the android device to send a connection request
- On the Android Device: Confirm / Consent to screensharing: Your screen will be shared.
If the Quickhelp App AddOn is installed as well:
In the Quickhelp App: Enable the QuickHelp Accessibility service in settings to enable Remote Control:
- An Information text should appear with an "Open Settings" Button
- In Android "Accessibility" -> "Downloaded Apps" enable "Quickhelp Accessibility Service".
Once consent is given, the remote control functionality will be available on this device when a screensharing session is active.
