There are over 10 million people in the UK living with hearing loss and according to the World Federation of the Deaf, there are more than 70 million deaf people worldwide. By providing a simple text messaging service overlaid during the video call will be extremely beneficial to this community.
There were 48,540 asylum applications (relating to 56,495 people) in the UK in 2021. This is 63% more than the previous year and the highest number for almost two decades. The ability to communicate effectively in the host Country's language cannot be overstated, from dealing with government officials to communicating with Hospitals, GP's, Schools etc. Our Rosetta Video Call and Messenger app with its integrated language translation will certainly help to bridge this language barrier gap.
