Substitute empowers employees and employers to broadcast uncovered shifts and find replacements within minutes via the mobile app. Employees can post shifts they need replacement for to their entire team members and available employees can accept new shifts and manage their schedules, all from their mobile device. Shift workers rely on the Substitute app to help them make real time adjustments to their work schedule and stay connected with their colleagues.

Find Additional Work Shifts
Looking to earn extra income? Pick up shifts by browsing available work opportunities on the Shift Marketplace. Tap on a shift to apply. Once you are approved, head in to work!

View Your Replacement Shifts
Access and manage your work schedule on your mobile device. View shifts you are working, all shift details, and get push notification reminders before each shift.

Whether you need one important shift covered, or you are looking to broadcast thousands of shifts, Substitute is here to help you reach and manage your workforce.

Manage Workforce and users
View all site team members and approve or deny users into the location. Create new groups for shift posting and communication channels to send messages.
Managers can create and manage their workforce through the mobile app. They can invite their entire team to join their respective workforces and empower their employees to find shift replacement within the team without managers’ direct involvement.

Post Open Shifts
Broadcast 1 or 100s of open shifts with the tap of a button. If you need team members to work, select the workforce, create a shift, add a work site, and Then watch employees pick and choose shift they can and want to cover.
