The Kirtan app is a collection of gaudiya vaishnava kirtan and bhajans, which are devotional songs composed in glorification of God and his associates. The followers of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu under the guidance of Rupa Goswami (rupanuga) composed these song to teach pure bhakti (devotion) to the supreme personality of Godhead, Lord Krishna. Singing, memorizing, and practicing the teachings of these devotional songs is essential in sadhana (devotional practice) on the path of bhakti yoga.
