E-Ship Safety™ is the first in a series of forms in the Digital Bunker app for the global Marine fuel market.

E-Ship Safety™ streamlines the commercial maritime fueling process, saving time and money. The app creates comprehensive industry-standard and legally binding, pre-delivery documentation from a tablet or smart phone.

Prior to fueling operations, a safety checklist is mandated at worldwide ports between physical suppliers and receiving vessel personnel. This checklist must comply with the standards outlined in the International Safety Guide for Oil Tankers & Terminals (ISGOTT 5th edition).

E-Ship Safety™ eliminates the tedious task of downloading a PDF from a port’s website, printing it out, manually filling it in and then scanning it for email back to the local port jurisdiction. With the traditional paper method, there is the added burden of keeping track of both the electronic AND paper editions. E-Ship Safety™ automates this process by providing immediate documentation for the local port, the receiving vessel and the delivery bunker tanker, barge, truck (or pipeline) via an instantaneously emailed PDF to multiple stakeholders.

The app includes GPS-embedded, bunker tanker, and vessel stamps (as photographic captures) with secure digital signatures from cargo officers, delivery personnel and vessel Chief Engineers. ISGOTT-compliant and ready for use in ports throughout the world, E-Ship Safety™ replaces the pen and paper approach to checklist documentation.

The software works even without a cellular connection, uploading finished forms as soon as a cellular signal or Wi-Fi is acquired. As an added security feature, E-Ship Safety™ forms include time stamping as part of the PDF filename itself.

E-Ship Safety™ eliminates the potential for loss or accidental destruction of paper originals; multiple stakeholders receive copies of the identical PDF documentation, and in our opinion, the app increases fuel transfer security. There is no “original” paper to misplace.
