SOFO: Horror
The events unfold on December 7, 2023. After a severe accident on a winter road, you find yourself on the outskirts of a desolate village, cut off from the rest of the world. A grim atmosphere of utter emptiness, thick fog, and piercing winter cold reigns supreme. The game delivers a sense of total isolation, where every sound in the dead silence becomes a direct threat to your life.
Primary Objective
You have sustained severe injuries as a result of the crash. Your top priority in the opening minutes is to find a medical kit. You have only 10 minutes to do so, or your chances of survival will vanish completely. Only after first aid is administered will you be able to begin searching for a way to escape this place.
Survival Preparation
Winter days are short, and you must utilize every minute of daylight to prepare for the night. Explore abandoned buildings to secure essential supplies:
Food to maintain your energy levels.
Batteries for your flashlight.
Resources, without which surviving the night will become critically difficult.
Rules of the Night and Enemy Behavior
Light and Shadows: It is strictly forbidden to turn on lights inside houses or use your flashlight outdoors without a vital reason—doing so instantly turns you into an easy target.
Sound and Reaction: The entity's artificial intelligence ensures that the enemy reacts sharply to any sudden noises. If you hear footsteps behind you—do not look back. Keep moving or find a reliable place to hide.
Locking the Doors: Simply closing a door behind you is no longer enough. Every room and hiding place must be locked with a key. Leaving a door unlocked is practically a guaranteed death sentence, as your shelter loses all structural safety.
Firearm Engagement
If you are fortunate enough to find a weapon among the snow-covered ruins, remember: it does not grant absolute safety. The enemy adapts to the threat. The initial shots are incapable of destroying the entity; instead, they will only infuriate it, making it significantly more aggressive and faster. Only a series of precise, consecutive hits can halt the enemy and neutralize it for a few minutes, granting a brief respite to escape. Use your scarce ammunition with extreme caution.
Variable Outcomes
Every decision you make and your actions during survival directly shape the resolution of the story. The game features multiple distinct endings, and the final outcome depends entirely on your choices.
