Tshwane FM 93.6 is a campus-based community radio station that has evolved into one of the largest campus-based radio stations in South Africa. The station serves the vibrant community of Tshwane. It has a strong historical background, starting as a project by the University's Department of Journalism in 2004 and later rebranding as Tshwane FM in 2010. The station broadcasts across a 50km radius, focusing on student voices and community engagement. As a student-run platform, Tshwane FM provides a space for students and community members to explore their interests and showcase their talents, creating a vibrant and inclusive environment. We also have 25 000 followers on Facebook. It targets youth and student from 16-24 years of age
