Auckland Hydrants provides GPS mapping of known public fire hydrants in the Auckland Region. The app is intended to assist fire services and similar organisations with rapidly finding a nearby hydrant.
Hydrants are loaded to the map and then removed, as you move around the city.
Disclaimer: Hydrant locations are provided in good faith. The app is not intended as a replacement for good pre-planning. Individual hydrants may not be available on a given day due to Council maintenance etc.
