As an IT administrator in your enterprise, with this application, you can let apps in the work profile write data to a mounted storage (SD card, USB drive etc) without reformatting it.
When external storage cannot be reformatted as adoptable, the only way to use it from the work profile applications is via the Storage Access Framework. This app supports file sharing across personal and work profiles, if the enterprise's device policies allow it.
