Sync for NHK Easy News is a free and simple app for reading Japanese news articles from NHK News Web Easy. The articles are a great resource for learning upper-beginner to intermediate level Japanese using real-world content.

* Tap on kanji to get English translations from a built-in offline dictionary
* Practice kanji by turning off furigana for words you already know
* Listen to Japanese spoken readings of the articles
* Display links directly to /r/NHKEasyNews posts for translations and discussion

I made this app as a side project to practice Japanese during my commute. It will always remain free as an educational tool. If you encounter any issues feel free to reach out.
