There is an adorable answer from someone who is unwilling to follow even one school of fiqh in Islam. When he was asked to be specific about what madhhab he actually adhered to, without the slightest hesitation he replied that he had the madhhab of the Prophet Muhammad.

At first glance, the phrase 'school of the Prophet' seems sweet. It is natural that many of the Muslims are too late to believe it. How could it not be, the schools of thought that they profess are no longer Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i or Hanbali, all of whom are not infallible prophets at all. They never even met a prophet.
