Had to allow location permission before app would connect to the socks. To save battery on a hike, I turn gps off until it is needed. Developers claim no data is collected or shared; but 20 or 30 seconds after I turn off my phones location the app can no longer see the socks. Turn the phone's location on, and magically the app that doesn't collect data somehow can see the socks again. I made no app permission changes. I doubt anyone verified the app doesn't collect or share data.

Apps is well laid out and easy to use. However it keeps asking me to sign in yet there is no requirement to sign so feels like they are fiching for information.

Keeps dropping out, can't adjust the quick temp buttons and why does it need location permissions?
