The Vantrue Connected APP supports features including:
•Local Album within the APP
•Live View
•Video Playback
•GPS Tracking
•Geofencing
•Two-Way Audio
•Event Upload
•Over-the-Air Firmware Updates (OTA)
You can directly connect to the Vantrue dash cam via Wi-Fi, access all videos stored on the dash cam's microSD card, and adjust the dash cam settings as needed. Additionally, you have the option to wirelessly update the firmware.
The APP offers cloud services. Once you register an account, connect your dash cam via a wireless hotspot, and configure it, you can take advantage of these cloud services.

I keep putting the verification code in to register and it won't go through Update : I figured it out. You have to use email adress and not your phone number but they ask you to enter your number and not the email so its very misleading. Update 6/26/24: I can not use the LTE live preview function it keeps jumping off the screen and saying Disconnected from camera. Also the Location says China and I'm in the USA. This app and dash cam is all messed up.

Updating the firmware should never reset the camera settings to default without the user consent, I updated my firmware recently and later discovered all settings were reset to factory default. This was done through the app and at no point was it disclosed the camera settings would be reset to default

Useless! You spend $400 to have no access to your footage via the app. Impossible to get access, it continuously kicks you out immediately or you can't even get into the app at all! I'm likely requesting a refund and returning the N5!
