About this app

EDS (Encrypted Data Storage) is a virtual disk encryption software which allows you to work with encrypted containers on your Android device.
EDS NG is a complete remake of EDS. It includes many new features and improvements.

* Supports VeraCrypt(R), TrueCrypt(R), LUKS v1, LUKS v2, EncFs(R), CryFs(R) container types. You can choose container format according to your needs.
* An ability to create an encrypted cloud storage using various cloud storage providers
* Full-featured file manager
* Built-in media viewer which does not leave traces on device or network and allows to view media files directly from the container
* Built-in text editor which allows to edit text files inside the container without traces
* Hidden volumes support. There are many situations where you cannot refuse to reveal the password (for example, due to extortion). Using a so-called hidden volume allows you to solve such situations without revealing the password to your volume
* Fully encrypted USB drives are supported
* A container or USB drive can have FAT, exFAT or NTFS file system
* Cipher combinations are supported. A contatainer can be encrypted using several ciphers at once
* You can use fingerprints, key files or hand-drawn patterns along with a password or instead of it
* On a rooted device you can mount a container, i.e. attach it to the file system of the device. This allows you to work with files inside the container as if they were inside a folder on your device
* A container can be opened directly from a network share. You can store an encrypted container on your NAS and open files in the container from your Android device
* You can setup a database inside the container to store various kinds of information including logins, passwords, credit card pin codes, etc. and then quickly find files or database entries using indexed search
* On a rooted device you can put data of an arbitrary application into an encrypted container
