About this app

The purpose of the application "Christian Audiobooks" is to give people of all ages, both young and old, the opportunity to read and listen to valuable Christian books for free. In interwar Lithuania, hundreds of Christian books were translated and published, the copyrights of which are no longer protected. Also, some publishers of our time kindly agreed to share their published books in this application. Our mission is to digitize this valuable heritage of Christian classics and make it available for free in electronic format.
The application consists of three sections:
- a reading room where you can read and listen to a selected book synchronously;
- the list of books, which publishes all Christian audiobooks available in the application;
- a player where you can listen to voiceover (some books - also in a natural voice) and see the text of the sentence being read.

Books section
It publishes a list of the application's books in cards, each of which contains a picture of the book's cover, the book's title and the author. The selected book can be opened in the reader - by sliding the card to the left, or in the player - by sliding the card to the right. Books can also be opened in a reader or player through the menu marked with three dots on the right side of the card.
Additional menu functions of this card:
- add the book to the list of favorites by clicking on the heart, or remove it from it;
- download the audio file by clicking on the arrow or delete it;
- remove a book from the list of books (you can always return deleted books later through the three-point menu on the top right of the entire book section).
Day/night mode and filtering of favorite books can also be selected in the top menu.
Reader section
You can listen to an audiobook and read it simultaneously. By scrolling the text with your fingers, you can select the line from which you want to listen to the audiobook. The font size, font type, reading speed and always-on function can be selected via the three-point menu in the upper right corner of the section.
Player section
You can comfortably listen to audiobooks in it, including those voiced with a natural voice. In some audiobooks, you can also see the text of the sentence being read while listening.
