Just open the application on your phone, pick Scanner or Generator options and get the results in no time!
When you pick Scanner, it will read a QR code either through your phone camera or image that you previously saved on your phone.
When you choose the Camera button, you can easily read a QRcode with your camera. Just hit the button Camera, and once it's on, place the camera in front of a code and the information will be automatically displayed on your screen. You can copy, share the information you get as well as do more actions, namely
- call the number that has been hidden in the QR code,
- open in maps the location that's been placed there,
- send an email if the hidden information was an email address.
When you pick the Image option, you can easily and quickly read a QR code with the image or photo that you have on your phone.
Just hit Image, the gallery will open, pick the image or photo with a QR code you want to read and get the results.
Just like with the Camera option, you can copy, share the information you get and more.
If you want to create a QR code, just pick Generate from the home screen.
Then choose the type of information you want to translate into QR code. You can pick the following: text, email address, phone number, web-page or location by placing latitude and longitude.
Place your info in the corresponding fields and press the Generate button. You immediately get a QR code for the information you placed. You can save or share this QR code. If you hit Save, it will be saved in the photo gallery on your phone. If you press share, you can send it via messaging apps that you have on your phone.
