WHAT DOES THE TOOL OFFER?
Solve a simple point charge system to calculate an electric force or field. In this option you can calculate other variables involved: load and distance.
Solve a system of 'N' point charges to calculate force and electric field. In this option you can enter the amount of loads that your system requires.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
SIMPLE POINT LOADING SYSTEM
For the case of a simple point load system, choose the variable you want to calculate, then enter the data of your system in the fields that appear on the screen.
SYSTEM 'N'-POINT LOADS
You have to choose what you are going to work on, force or electric field. If you decide to work with electrical power, capture all the loads in your system, then choose the load that will be your reference by tapping on it. Once this is done, capture the data that relates each load on your system to the reference load, which are: direction and distance.
If you decide to work with an electric field, capture all the charges in your system, each one with its respective direction and distance, which will be related to the reference point where you want to calculate your resulting electric field.
RESULTS
This tool will finally give you the results graphically and numerically, that is, it will show you your free body diagram with the resulting electric force or the resulting electric field according to your analysis. It will also show you the results of your analysis numerically. The data that it will give you will be direction, magnitude and vector components of your force or electric field according to the case of your analysis.
The free mode of the application offers you to solve SIMPLE POINT LOADING SYSTEM, the ability to solve 'N'-POINT LOADING SYSTEMS requires an additional charge that you can access within the application.
