On November 10, 1942, a map of the Allied landings in progress unfolded in front of him, General de Gaulle was deep in thought. Suddenly time freezes, the quest can begin.
Explore the London headquarters of the leader of Free France, collect clues and then solve puzzles to better understand the political and military issues at the heart of the concerns of the "man of June 18".
Discover some of the great challenges taken up by a general whose point of view is revealed to us through a double level of reading: commented on hot through numerous extracts from his radio speeches to the BBC, contextualized a posteriori via quotations excerpts from the first opus of his "War Memoirs".
At this pivotal moment in his career, despite the commitment of the Free French Forces in the fight, the creation of a National Committee and the support of resistance movements, his legitimacy to represent France is only poorly recognized by his British and American allies.
General de Gaulle is now looking for a new territory from which to sit and exercise his legitimacy. The London exile is coming to an end, the Algiers period will soon begin.
