About this app

It counts the number of "Thank you" with two functions, voice recognition and tap counter.
○Voice Recognition Mode: Use voice recognition to count the words "thank you" hands-free
○Tap mode...Tap to count when you say "thank you" (regular tally counter)

●What is the “Arigatou Challenge”?
"If you chant "thank you" 25,000 times, your tears will overflow and a miracle will happen"
This work was advocated by Seikan Kobayashi in his books and lectures.

If you keep saying "thank you" about 25,000 times,
Tears overflowing enough to squeeze a bath towel
Thank you from the bottom of my heart
A miracle will happen within 6 months.

●Rules for the “Arigatou Challenge”
・Just say “thank you”
・You don't have to put your heart into it
・On the way, if you complain, complain, complain, or complain, it will be reset.
・If you complain about something, you can cancel it by saying "I'm sorry for now" within 10 seconds and it will not be reset.

●The speech recognition function of this application uses the speech recognition engine on the Android device.

●Voice recognition has a knack
Let's practice first.
1. Open [Details] at the bottom of the [Voice Recognition Mode] screen
2. [▶] Tap the start button to start speech recognition
3. Say "thank you" into the microphone
Four. The recognized voice is displayed in [Recognized:] in [Details]
Five. "1" is displayed in [Count:] in [Details]
6. After a short wait, "(confirmed)" will be displayed in [Count:] under [Details], and the count will be updated.

You can reset or adjust the count at any time with the icons at the top of the screen.

● When saying “thank you” in succession
If you say "thank you" in succession, the speech recognition engine may not be able to recognize it correctly.
In this case, please try the following.

・Voice slowly
・ Say “thank you” one time at a time
・Try to include words other than “thank you”
・Up to 3 times

Even if you try the above, it may not be recognized correctly.
Keep practicing and discover new tricks. (I would be happy if you could share it on reviews and support sites)

●Voice recognition stops automatically
Voice recognition stops at the following times
・When a voice pause (breathing, interval) is detected
In this case, this application will automatically start speech recognition again.
(The length of the pause seems to vary depending on the device and OS)
・When silence continues
・[■] When the stop button is pressed

●About the beep sound
A beep sounds when speech recognition starts and stops.
This is output by the speech recognition engine and cannot be controlled by this application.
Please adjust the volume in the settings of the device or OS.

● "Voice recognition mode" or "Tap mode"
It is difficult to always achieve 100% accuracy in speech recognition.
You can adjust the count with the icon at the top of the screen, but if you think "speech recognition is like this" and you are OK with an approximate value, please use it if you want convenience.
If you need accurate count, please use tap mode.

● "Speech Recognition is not available." is displayed
Some devices need to allow the use of the microphone in the "Google" app.

● Does not recognize voice from Bluetooth microphone
There is a phenomenon that when a Bluetooth earphone microphone is connected, sound is output to the earphone, but the sound of the microphone is not input, and the sound of the microphone of the device itself is recognized as voice.
It seems to be a phenomenon that occurs depending on the device or OS, and the cause is unknown.
