While bug improvements are coming out to make the app usable, but the overall design is not good. The homescreen is too busy (too many buttons packed into one screen). The interface needs a overhaul and break out engine functions to different subscreens to make commonly used features easier to find & use. Less commonly functions can be on a different screen. Lionel needs to get screen swiping figured out. The little screen change buttons are nice but they take up valuable real estate.

I'm experiencing severe performance issues with the app on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Many features are nearly unusable, and basic swipe gestures (up, down, left, right) only work about 1 in 10 times, which is very frustrating. As a software developer, if Lionel provided access to an API for Base3, we could develop our own apps that are more reliable.

Understandably a little buggy on it's first release but it has the potential of being a great app when they fix a couple of annoying bugs. First, the swipe down almost never works on my Google Pixel. Second, the steam blow down button does not activate the steam blow down sound. It throttles the engine to speed step 26, which rockets the engine down the track. This happened with 3 TMCC engines and a Lionchief plus bluetooth engine. Also the water full button does not activate water full sound.
