About this app

In Islam, there are two holidays, namely Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Both were very special and were welcomed with great enthusiasm and gratitude. Eid al-Fitr begins with the Ramadan fast which is also much awaited by Muslims, while Eid al-Adha is synonymous with the Hajj pilgrimage which is also only carried out once a year. Eid al-Adha is celebrated every 10th of the month of Dzulhijjah, which is the last month in the Islamic calendar.

Eid al-Adha is an Islamic holiday. This day commemorates the event of sacrifice, namely when the Prophet Ibrahim, who was willing to sacrifice his son Ismail for Allah, then replaced the sacrifice with a lamb.

On this holiday, Muslims gather in the morning and perform Eid prayers together in the field or in the mosque, just like when celebrating Eid al-Fitr. After the prayer, the sacrificial animal is slaughtered, to commemorate Allah's command to the Prophet Ibrahim to slaughter a sheep as a substitute for his son.

Eid al-Adha falls on the 10th of the month of Zulhijah, this day falls exactly 70 days after the Eid al-Fitr celebration. This day, along with the Tasyrik days, is forbidden to fast for Muslims. Here are +100 words of greetings for Eid al-Adha 2024 1445 H.
