On the app, you need to log in to your Instagram account. On the website, you do not needroo. Very odd.

Pretty good for saving stories, but only ok for saving posts to a certain extent. Regarding saving posts, for multiple image posts, trying to consecutively save every image within a post ends up replacing the previous saved image with the more recent saved image because all of the images within the post get saved with the same file name. Also, neither videos nor images after a video within a multiple image posts are displayed.

"I downloaded the Instagram story downloader app with high hopes, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disappointment. Despite their claims of it working seamlessly, the app failed to deliver on its promises. Instead, I was bombarded with endless ads while the stories refused to download. This experience has been frustrating, and I strongly advise others to steer clear of this app. It's nothing short of a scam."
