The idea began after a question I couldn't shake following the 2014 disappearance of MH370:
What if we could make sure our loved ones have what they need, even when we're not there to say so?

That single thought—of leaving a "comfort note"—grew into three practical tools that now guide how I use KeepBridge in everyday life.

- How I use it: Before solo motorcycle trips, I set a 4-hour timer. If I don't check in when it ends, my chosen contacts get a quiet alert.
- Other use: Before surgery, I set a short timer. If I didn't wake to cancel it, my family would automatically receive a note with financial instructions.
- Best for: Any short-term situation where safety matters—solo commutes, hikes, medical appointments, or overnight shifts.

🔔 Absence Alert: Regular Safety Checks
A gentle system for people who live alone or apart from loved ones.
- How I use it: Living solo in the countryside, I set a 72-hour check-in window. If I miss it, my brother gets an alert—no anxious guessing, no waiting too long.
- Flexible options: Choose a check-in period that suits your lifestyle (24h, 72h, or custom). Ideal for elderly users, long-distance partners, or frequent travelers.
- Peace of mind: When silence lasts longer than usual, your chosen contact is quietly notified.

📦 Time Capsule: Secure Offline Notes
A way to ensure your words, instructions, and care reach the right people—only when truly needed.
- How I use it: I write notes like "My seed phrase is inside the top-shelf dictionary." Nothing sensitive is stored online—just directions for your trusted people.
- When it sends: Only after a long-term absence (default 300 days, adjustable to 180 or 365).
- Privacy first: Notes are fully encrypted and stay invisible until triggered.
