À propos de l'application

Witbound turns listening into reading. Play your audiobook and Witbound follows along in the matching ebook, lighting up each word exactly as the narrator speaks it. Glance away, and the page has kept your place. Glance back, and you are already there.

It is made for people who love a book in both forms: the audiobook for the walk and the washing up, the page for the quiet hour before sleep. Witbound holds the two together so you never lose your spot in either one.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Read along, word by word. The word being spoken is gently lit as you listen, so your eyes and ears stay together.
- Bring your own books. Pair an ebook with its audiobook and press play. Your library, your files.
- Sink into the page. While you listen, the controls quietly fade until only the words remain. One tap brings them back.
- Read in your own light. Paper, sepia, or night, with your choice of highlight colour and text size.
- Never lose your place. Jump to any chapter and pick up exactly where you left off, down to the word.
- Made for the last hour of the day. A sleep timer lets the book stop when you do.
- Watch the hours add up. Streaks, words read, and time listened, quietly kept for your eyes only.

Everything runs on your device. Your books stay yours.

For readers, re-readers, and anyone who has ever wished the page would keep pace with the voice.

Nouveautés

Syncing is faster, and the book and its notification now show about how long is left. Some m4b files that wouldn't open on Android now import, and a file that can't be read shows a short code that tells us why. If Android pauses a long sync, one tap continues it. In the reader, tap Aa for Continuous scroll, four fonts, a wider Text size range, and Line and Paragraph spacing. Highlight, add notes and bookmark pages in each book's Notebook. New icon.
