One of the most important features of virtual reality that has attracted the attention of psychologists is its ability to capture the brain, giving a sense of immersion, presence and interaction. When we wear virtual reality glasses and enter the virtual reality environment, we feel that we are behaving naturally and we are not deceiving the brain into thinking that we are actually in virtual reality, because the brain responds to sensory information received from the surrounding environment, regardless of the reality in which it is immersed. Thus, when the surrounding environment is a three-dimensional environment characterized by immersion, presence, and interaction, it has a great ability to influence it, strengthen some connections and weaken others, and generate a sense of presence and realism, so it is used in the field of psychology not only to improve the client's experience, but also to treat many mental disorders.
