Winter Stock

DMTehnik

À propos de l'application

Winter Stock is an offline calculator that works out how much food and water your family needs to stock up for a chosen period — a week, a month, the winter, or a full year. It's built for planning reserves in situations where access to stores or the internet might be limited.

How it works:
Enter your family's makeup — men, women, children by age group, pregnant or breastfeeding members, physical activity level. Pick your stockpiling period and diet type: regular, vegetarian, or vegan (with a note on vitamin B12). Add your region and climate zone, and the calculator accounts for seasonality and local crop availability.

What you get:
- Detailed breakdown by category: grains, legumes, fats, sugar, salt, protein, vegetables, preserves
- Total weight and estimated volume of the stockpile
- A separate water calculation — an emergency buffer plus a long-term reference figure, with tips on sources and purification
- A shopping checklist right in the app — your progress is saved
- Export the shopping list to PDF (print-ready) or CSV
- Save multiple scenarios (e.g. "family for winter" and "family plus relatives")
- Storage-loss buffer and a contingency reserve — both adjustable

Why this app:
- Fully offline — no internet needed for calculations or everyday use
- No ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts
- Your data stays on your device
- Available in 22 languages

A minimal, clear interface designed to stay easy to use even under stress.
