ABOUT UTHHAN

Founded in 2012, Uthhan is the first initiative in India where revenue from artifact sales goes to the respective artisan families directly without any middlemen. Uthhan is displaying its handicraft items in Uthhan Ecom( For Indian Customers) and Uthhan Global ( For Global Customers). The project is currently feeding 80k plus artisans in the states of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Meghalaya through craft sales.
Uthhan Charitable Trust is providing raw materials, tools, smartphones, laptops, medical consumables, and sales to economically downtrodden artisans and clusters through its campaign called " Karigar Apnao Sanskriti Bachao Abhiyaan( KASBA ) started in 2020. KASBA has supported more than 10K plus families since inception.

The project eliminates the role of middlemen and other illegal financial exploitation which kept a monster sum of skilled workers in India in dark and never-ending financial agony. This effort will unify all types of skilled workers across India which will lead to a new ray of hope for the community to fight for their rightful cause without fear.

UOP is the offline store chain of Uthhan that started in December 2022. UOP will empower our Indian Artisans further through its offline display of craft products through various merchant locations. UOP will supply craft products at the lowest rate to the end users since there are no middlemen involved in the entire process.

UOP will allow artisans to sell their crafts directly to customers without any rent or administrative charges. UOP will display craft products at the lowest rate since there are no middlemen.
