ArborProof helps arborists inspect trees, assess risk, map defects and produce client-ready PDF
survey reports in the field. It works offline, needs no account, and keeps every survey record on
the device.

Record likelihood of failure, likelihood of impact and consequences through a transparent
two-stage matrix. Pin defects to the crown, trunk or root collar, attach annotated photographs,
and see exactly which observations produced the recorded rating.

TWO-STAGE RISK MATRIX

Likelihood of failure combines with likelihood of impact, and that result combines with the
consequences. Both tables are fixed lookups, so the same observations always produce the same
rating, and the app shows the working. Two assessors entering the same observations reach the
same rating, which is what makes a rating you can stand behind.

ANATOMICAL DEFECT MAPPER

Tap the crown, the trunk or the root collar on a tree diagram and log what you saw there. The pin
stays where you put it. Deadwood, hanging limbs, included bark, cavities, decay, fungal fruiting
bodies, cracks and root plate movement are all one tap away, each with a severity and a
photograph.

TREE INVENTORY

Record species, tag number, DBH, height, crown spread, vitality, targets and site notes.
Calculate diameter from a tape measurement, equivalent diameter for multi-stem trees, and
BS 5837:2012 root protection areas as you type.

OPTIONAL GPS PIN

Drop a coordinate while standing at the tree, or type it in. Location is taken once, in the
foreground, and stays on the device. Everything works with location switched off.

RE-SURVEY RADAR

The rating sets the re-inspection interval, and overdue trees surface first across every site.
Reminders arrive before a tree falls due, so a one-off survey becomes a standing record.

SURVEY REPORT

A PDF with a risk-ranked site summary, a page per tree showing the rating and the inputs behind
it, annotated defect photographs, your recommendation and your signature.

OFFLINE BY DEFAULT

Sites, trees, assessments, photographs and coordinates are stored on the device. No account, no
sign-in, nothing uploaded. Available in 10 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German
and Portuguese.

Designed for consulting arborists, municipal tree officers, tree contractors and estate or
grounds teams keeping a duty of care record. Supports the records used in ANSI A300 tree risk
assessment practice and BS 5837:2012 root protection area work.

ArborProof is a record-keeping and reporting tool. It does not diagnose concealed defects or
replace the judgement of a suitably qualified arborist. An assessment remains dependent on the
