Quick Timeout is a lightweight Android utility that changes how long your screen stays on—with a single tap.
Keep the screen on longer while cooking, reading, or working. Choose a preset in the app or use the home screen widget without opening the app.
Key features
• One-tap presets: Cooking (10 minutes), Reading (30 minutes), Work (45 minutes), and Default (15 seconds)
• 4×1 home screen widget for quick access to every preset
• Auto restore returns the timeout to 15 seconds when a temporary mode ends
• Current timeout shown in the app, with the active preset highlighted in the widget
• Light and dark themes that follow your system setting
• English and Korean interfaces that follow your device language
Permissions
• Modify system settings: applies the screen timeout you select.
• Alarms & reminders: restores the 15-second default when a temporary mode ends.
• Start after reboot: reschedules a pending automatic restore after your device restarts.
Privacy
Quick Timeout has no accounts or separate analytics features. It shows a small bottom banner ad using Google Mobile Ads, subject to the privacy choices available for your region.
