Spa Tech Institute was created in 2001 with the merger of Headhunter II School of Cosmetology, founded in 1976, and the Polarity Realization Institute, founded in 1980 by Nancy Risley. Today, we have four locations offering certificate programs in massage, aesthetics and polarity therapy. Plus, cosmetology, limited barbering and nail tech at our Maine campus.
