Focus Reader helps you get through text you're struggling to focus on — paste a paragraph, an article, or import a file, and it reads it back to you one word at a time, repeating each sentence so it actually sticks.
Built specifically around how ADHD attention works: one word highlighted at a time, short repeated bursts instead of a wall of text, and every extra feature designed to reduce friction rather than add decisions.

OPTIONAL, PRIVACY-RESPECTING EXTRAS (all off by default) • Comprehension check-ins after each paragraph, powered by a local Ollama server you run yourself — nothing sent to the cloud • Repeat Sentence practice: say each sentence back out loud and see which words you got right, using your device's own speech recognition • AI summaries and quizzes, if you supply your own Anthropic API key — sent directly from your device, never through us
