IPTV Basic is a straightforward media player for the playlists you already have.
It does not include, host, or provide any channels, films, or content of its own. You bring your own M3U link or Xtream Codes login, and the app plays it. That's the whole idea: a clean player that gets out of the way.
WHAT IT DOES
• Loads M3U / M3U8 playlists and Xtream Codes accounts
• Live TV, films and series, sorted into the groups your provider already uses
• TV guide (EPG) with what's on now and what's next, from XMLTV or your Xtream panel
• Catch-up: go back and watch programmes that have already aired, when your provider supports it
• Recording: record what you're watching, or schedule a recording from the guide
• Favourites, recently watched, pinned groups, and hidden groups
• Search, including voice search
• Picture size control, audio track and subtitle selection
• Multiplex view: watch up to four channels at once
• A small offline game for when you're waiting
BUILT FOR THE REMOTE, TOO
IPTV Basic runs on phones, tablets and Android TV. On a TV you get proper focus outlines, arrow-key zapping, channel numbers typed straight on the remote, and a QR code so you can type your playlist address from your phone instead of pecking at an on-screen keyboard.
SENSIBLE BY DEFAULT
Adult content is hidden until you turn it on, and turning it on asks for a PIN you choose. There is no account to create, no sign-up, and no server of ours in the middle — your playlist details stay on your device.
FREE TRIAL, THEN CHOOSE A PLAN
Everything above is unlocked for 15 days, with no ads and nothing to enter up front.
After the trial the public channel directory keeps working for free, supported by ads. Loading your own playlist — M3U or Xtream — and the premium features (catch-up, recording, multiplex, no ads) then need a plan: monthly, yearly, or a single one-time payment that never renews. Plans are handled by Google Play and are tied to your Google account. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time in the Play Store.

Favourites now bring together channels from every group. Picking a country or category used to hide favourites from the others; tapping Favourites now shows everything you starred, no matter the group.
