Chess on a board you can turn.
Chess3D renders a real tournament board in three dimensions — drag to rotate it, pinch to zoom, and see the position from your own side of the table.
PLAY
- Quick match against players at your rating
- Ten computer levels, from a beginner to a strong opponent

- Correspondence games at a day per move, with a reminder before your clock runs out
- Five time controls, from one-minute bullet to thirty-minute classical
AFTER THE GAME
Every move is scored against a chess engine and labelled the way chess sites do, with an accuracy figure for the whole game. A coach explains any weak move in plain language, so you learn why it was weak rather than just that it was.
PRACTISE
- A daily puzzle — the same position for everybody
- Puzzle rush: three minutes, as many as you can solve
- Six endgame positions every player should be able to convert
COMPETE
- Arena tournaments that pair you continuously while the clock runs
- Clubs with their own wall and standings
- A leaderboard among the people you actually play, not a global table where everyone is four thousandth
IN THE GAME
Talk to your opponent by voice, send one of fourteen reactions, or chat. See who you are playing: their name, country and rating on the board.
EVERY RULE OF CHESS
Castling both ways, en passant, promotion to any piece, and all nine endings — checkmate, stalemate, insufficient material, threefold repetition and the fifty-move rule. The server decides every move, so a modified client cannot cheat.
YOURS TO KEEP
Boards, piece sets, table settings and sound packs, bought with gems. Gems come from winning games, from top-up codes, or from a friend — so everything in the shop is reachable without spending anything.
SAFETY
Block and report from the board itself. A blocked player cannot be matched with you, challenge you, or send a friend request.
Your account works on the app and at chess3d.live. Sign in on either and your games, rating and gems are the same.
