Many states require that young drivers receive 50 hours of supervised practice time (including 10 hours of nighttime driving) before they receive a driver's license. Currently this is tracked by filling out a paper log.
The KarChing Driver's Education app brings this process into the 21st century. When both the student and the supervisor download the app, whenever both are in the same moving car, the two apps will automatically record the trip. We calculate the length of the trip and the number of daytime and/or nighttime minutes as well as the name of the supervisor present. We show you a running total of the driving time with a supervisor. To get your drivers license, show the log with your 50 hours to the DMV or print out a provided PDF version of the log. We also give a telematics-based score of all your drives.
