The 'USB Remote' application facilitates data transfer from a smartphone to an Arduino Uno microcontroller using a USB data transfer cable.
CONNECTION SETUP INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Open the 'USB Remote' app.
2. Connect your Arduino Uno to your smartphone using a data cable. You might also need an OTG adapter. In case of detection issues, make sure the OTG feature is enabled on your smartphone.
3. Click the "Add" button, then enter the string of characters you want to send to the Arduino and specify a name for the button. Once created, the button will appear in the list of created buttons.
4. If the app detects your Arduino Uno, it will prompt you to grant permission for the connection.
If you grant permission, the app will be able to access your Arduino Uno, establishing the connection between your Arduino and smartphone, and enabling communication automatically. You can enable or disable communication later in the app settings.
If you deny permission, the connection between your Arduino and smartphone will not be established. You can grant permission later by either reconnecting the Arduino Uno physically or by clicking the restart button in the app settings.
5. If everything is set up and the connection is established, you can click on a button from the list of created buttons to send its corresponding string message to the Arduino.
