PMA is located in heart of Union Territory Puducherry (formerly known as Pondicherry), one of the liveliest and friendliest Union Territory in India and a great place to study. As a former French colony, it exudes Mediterranean aura with its own unique culture and social life, museums, theatres, resorts, restaurants, shops, bars, clubs, etc that one will never be short of things. One of the most important challenges of Maritime education in our country today: the growing rural-urban divide- where there is an instant shortfall in quality of competent young Maritime professionals from rural areas.
