Contest Queue keeps a barbershop contest running on time.

One app holds the whole contest - competitors, hosts, stage managers, judges and presenters - and shows every one of them the same live information, in the view that fits their job.

THE PATTERN KEEPS ITSELF CURRENT

The pattern is the heart of it: who performs, where they need to be, and when. Add your competitors and warm-up rooms, drag them into their order of appearance, and Contest Queue builds the pattern for you; arrival, check-in, photos, warm-up and stage times, all worked backwards from the moment each competitor steps on stage.

Then it maintains itself. The stage manager logs on- and off-stage times, Contest Queue works out whether you are ahead or behind, and every competitor's schedule shifts to absorb the delay. Nobody redoes the math in a hallway.

A VIEW FOR EVERY ROLE

• Competitors see the contest live from anywhere, and know exactly when to be where. No account needed.
• Hosts check competitors in quickly. Anyone running late is flagged in red, and one tap calls their contact.
• Stage managers log on and off stage, mark who is backstage and ready, and leave notes for the team.
• Judges get a stripped-down view of who is next, with a green light to signal they are ready.
• Presenters get the names, hometowns and details an emcee needs to work the crowd.
• Admins get all of it, plus the setup behind it.

NOTIFICATIONS WORTH KEEPING ON

Tap the bell on any competitor for a heads-up before they take the stage, and an update if the running order slips. Link your account to a competitor and you will get check-in reminders too. Organizers can post announcements and notices to the whole convention. Notification Settings is one screen listing everything you will be told about, and how to turn any of it off.
