NanoIDE is designed to perform development tasks directly on your Android device. Your projects and source files remain stored locally unless you choose to share, export, synchronize, or send information to an external service.

MOBILE ANDROID BUILD SYSTEM

The built-in toolchain supports Java compilation, Android DEX generation, optimization, and APK signing. Its incremental build system helps avoid rebuilding unchanged project files, making development more practical on mobile hardware.

INTELLIGENT CODE EDITING

Get ranked Java code suggestions, diagnostics, and quick fixes while you work. NanoIDE also provides beta Kotlin completion and Android XML assistance for layouts and manifest files.

OPTIONAL AI ASSISTANCE

Connect a supported AI provider using your own API key to get optional coding help. AI features are optional and require an internet connection and a compatible provider.
