À propos de l'application

RTCmeter is a high-frequency diagnostic tool designed to measure the true stability of your connection. Traditional internet speed tests measure your raw bandwidth (how much data you can download at once). While helpful, high bandwidth doesn't guarantee a stable connection.

RTCmeter measures consistency. It shows how smoothly data travels over time. By tracking latency variations every single second, RTCmeter identifies the micro-stutters, jitter spikes, and silent packet drops that ruin online gaming, video calls, and remote work connections.

Ever had a full 5 bars of 5G but still couldn't check your e-mail, load a webpage, or play your favorite online game? Mobile devices show signal strength (how strong the link is to the cell tower), not signal quality (if your data is actually getting through congestion).

RTCmeter shows the true stability of your connection. If your connection drops, the "STABLE" timer instantly resets and "LOST" is indicated. Just keep the meter running and walk around to find a spot where the internet actually works. RTCmeter is also useful for placing routers, Wi-Fi extenders, and Wi-Fi antennas.

The RTCmeter mobile app sends raw ICMP Ping packets directly to your chosen server, providing true-latency numbers identical to professional command-line tools.

Wi-Fi Mode pings your local router, bypassing your internet connection to measure the direct link between your device and router. Wi-Fi mode can also run alongside global server pings to instantly see whether lag spikes are caused by your ISP or a weak Wi-Fi signal at home.

RTCmeter operates securely entirely within your device. No personal identifying information (PII) is collected, stored, or sold by RTCmeter.

RTCmeter simulates network congestion by downloading blank, generated dummy files from our servers. This process is completely secure and private. RTCmeter only tests downstream capacity and never upload your personal files, scan your local network, or access any data outside of the testing environment.
