Vortex is a portrait-mode survival-dodging mobile game centered on maneuvering an energy vortex core through narrow passages. Players tap the upper half of the screen to move the core upward and the lower half to move it downward, precisely adjusting altitude as icy crystal spikes from above and lava pillars from below close in alternately—passing closely by earns points. As scores rise, obstacles appear more frequently and gaps narrow, making the pace increasingly tense. The game can be paused at any time, with options to continue, restart, or return to the main menu. Simple controls yet requiring prediction and rhythm mastery, it is well suited for short-session challenges that are easy to pick up but grow progressively harder.
