New for Advanced Users: If your device is rooted, WalkTest supports band locking functionality, giving you greater control over testing specific frequency bands.

WalkTest is a brand-new app built from the ground up to test indoor networks. The simple user interface allows users to record various signal metrics throughout a building and produce detailed reports on the quality of the cellular signal. You can use the data from the WalkTest app to help you understand where you have coverage issues in your building, provide reports you can share with your carrier, and provide the information you need to design a DAS or similar system to improve coverage.

- Test Multiple Carriers at Once:
WalkTest allows you to connect multiple devices to the main device, allowing you to record data from multiple carriers while only needing to mark points on one device.

- Map Cellular, Private Networks (LTE/5G), and Wi-Fi Networks
WalkTest gives you the flexibility to test and map not only traditional public cellular networks, but also private LTE/5G networks and Wi-Fi networks. This holistic view ensures you have a complete understanding of connectivity throughout your building.

- Band Locking for Rooted Devices:
If your device is rooted, WalkTest enables band locking capabilities, allowing you to lock onto specific frequency bands for more precise testing and analysis of individual band performance.

- Wide Variety of KPIs:
WalkTest allows you to measure and map a wide variety of cellular KPIs, including RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, download speed, upload speed, latency, NCI, PCI, eNodeBID, frequency bands, eNodeB ID, and many more.

- Simple, Easy-to-Use Collection UI:
Once you have uploaded your PDF floorplan on the main device, you can simply mark your location on the plan as you walk around the building. The app will then analyze the route you have taken and intelligently distribute collected data points along the route. You can even pin the floorplan to the correct location in Google Maps, ensuring that all exported data will have the correct latitude and longitude.

- Produce Beautiful, Detailed Reports:
The report feature allows you to export PDFs of metric averages and coverage maps for all KPIs and all floors.

- Custom Thresholds:
Exported reports include coverage maps and average metrics across various threshold bands. The settings section of the app allows you to define these bands and have that data reflected in the exported reports.

- CSV Export:
The CSV export functionality will export geocoded data of all signal KPIs for use in iBWave or other RF planning tools.
