Story
December 7, 2023. A routine drive to visit parents ends in a single moment of inattention at the wheel, followed by darkness. Regaining consciousness, a nineteen-year-old protagonist finds himself inside a wrecked car amidst the snow. Around him is nothing but fog, freezing silence, and a deserted village that doesn't seem to exist on any map.
With no cellular signal and no way back, the first few minutes turn into a fight for life: he must stop the bleeding immediately before consciousness fades forever. Ahead lies a long night in a place that only appears to be abandoned.
Game Features
Freezing Scarcity & Realistic Resources: The cold constantly drains the flashlight's battery—even when it is turned off and tucked inside a pocket. You cannot simply save light "for later." You will have to plan every step and learn to navigate the darkness by sound.
Real Lock Mechanics & Fragile Safety: Closing a door is not enough—every room and hiding spot must be physically locked with a key. Yet even locked doors offer no guarantee of safety: the creature has a chance to break them down by force, turning your shelter into a trap.
An Adaptive Enemy That Learns: The creature reacts to the slightest noise and catches movement in its peripheral vision. It doesn't just patrol—it sets ambushes near houses, waits for the player to return, alters its distance, and adapts to your behavior.
Weapons Are a Risk, Not Salvation: Ammunition is scarce, and the first hits only enrage the creature, making it faster and more aggressive. Only a few precise, consecutive shots can temporarily incapacitate it, granting a brief respite, but never a final victory.
Mysterious Sounds: Distant sounds of unknown origin echo more frequently the longer you remain undetected, building psychological pressure without explicit explanations.
Absolute Replayability: Patrol routes, creature behavior, house exploration sequences, and attack triggers are generated anew with every run. Safe, memorized routes do not exist.
Seamless Cinematic Experience: Events, plot twists, and critical moments unfold in real time from a first-person perspective—without cuts, loading screens, or abstract menus.
Unique Real-Time Endings: The outcome of the story depends on every decision made, resources gathered, and actions taken in critical moments. Each of the multiple endings unfolds as a full real-time cinematic cutscene, while the character's final reflections leave a lasting impression long after the playthrough.
