Uteke is a notes app that searches by meaning.
Write a note today, find it months later by describing the idea. You do not need the exact words. Uteke builds a meaning-based index of your notes on your device, so you can search the way you remember: loosely.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Capture a note in a few taps.
2. Uteke embeds it on-device with a compact language model (EmbeddingGemma 300M).
3. Search in your own words. The closest matches come first, ranked by meaning.
The model downloads once on first run, about 188 MB. After that, Uteke works with no network at all.
WHY LOCAL
- Your notes never leave your phone. There is no account and no server copy.
- No analytics, no tracking.
- Search works offline, anywhere.
- Local storage you control. Delete a note and it is gone.
