Five rounds. Five stalls. One hundred fifty days of water.
Each round the wheel lands on a country and its animals walk up the gangway. You pick one pair and put them in their group's stall: mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, bugs. Once a stall is full it stays full, so a pick you liked in round one can cost you the animal you needed in round four.
Then the ark sails, and you find out whether the lineup holds.
Every animal is rated on speed, weight, lifespan and length, ranked against the whole roster of 180 pairs. What counts changes by group. Birds are judged on different things than bugs. A cheetah makes a fine mammal and a poor everything else.
The draw comes from 35 countries and no two runs deal the same hand. New Zealand offers no mammals. Chile offers no reptiles. Some rounds give you a choice between two animals you want, and some give you nothing you want, and you still have to fill the stall.
It is hard on purpose. Surviving all 150 days means building an ark in roughly the top tenth of what the game will accept. Most runs end somewhere in the water, and the result tells you how far you got.
The Animal Index keeps everything you have boarded. All 180 pairs are drawn as flat vector art.
A run takes about a minute.
No ads. No accounts. No tracking of any kind. Nothing leaves your phone, and the whole game works with no connection.
Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Russian.
